The course aims to empower participants to deepen their understanding and enhance their proficiency in key areas of practice, including basic cutaneous anatomy, effective consultations, skin aesthetics management procedures, surface active treatment modalities and the fundamentals of neurotoxins and tissue augmentation.
The course consists of four main subjects, each containing several topic-based tutorials.
Each subject is supported by a variety of resources, including detailed notes, and, where applicable, tutorial-specific research articles, presentations, and pre-recorded tutorials.

Assessments:
To support learning, each tutorial within a subject has an associated formative ‘check your understanding’ quiz. These quizzes are not graded for the purposes of subject assessment.
Each subject has a formal ‘summative’ assessment quiz which is graded with a passing grade of 65%.
Required Hours:
This course requires up to 50 study hours (minimum of 35 hrs), which includes completion of the online content tutorials, associated pre-recorded tutorials and supporting resources and, assessment tasks.
Students may find the need to spend additional time on their individual needs/desire to explore further materials including the suggested readings/journal articles and web-based resources.
You will have one year to complete the course from the date of your enrolment.

One fee includes access to the course for the duration of study including all learning material and resources:
- Introductory price $7,900 (Plus GST) until 25 October 2025
A 10% GST charge applies to all course fees and is calculated at the checkout.

Course Learning Outcomes
At the successful completion of this course, participants will be able to demonstrate:
- Enhanced foundational knowledge of basic cutaneous anatomy, skin structure, and factors affecting skin aging.
- Understanding the concepts of beauty and appearance in relation to skin aesthetics.
- Ability to conduct effective patient consultations and gather appropriate historical and clinical information for treatment planning.
- Enhanced knowledge and skills in selecting, applying, and assessing risks of relevant surface-active procedures.
- Ability to make informed judgments on the application of surface-active procedures to patients.
- Knowledge and skills in anaesthesia techniques and tissue augmentation.

This course is not accredited for RACGP CPD hours; however, you will receive a Certificate of Completion which you can submit to your relevant accreditation body.
