Overview
This workshop provides participants with the opportunity to practice melanography skills under the guidance of experienced melanography trainers. All practical activities are facilitated by experienced trainers, and a worksheet guides participants through activities enabling them to practise skills required for assessment.
Workshops are delivered three times per year during each trimester.

1. Skin assessment practice
2. Camera skills and imaging practice
3. Dermoscopy & lesion inspection practice
4. Guided activities:
- Dermoscopy
- Sun health information
- Skin cancer risk
- Record keeping
5. Melanography Process
Learning activities include demonstrations, discussion, presentations and quizzes.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate developing competence in total body photography and lesion imaging.
- Perform a full skin assessment using a standardised assessment sequence.
- Demonstrate appropriate use of dermoscopy in lesion assessment.
- Recognise the components of acceptable image quality to meet quality standards in melanoma surveillance photography.
